Agent confirms move for West Brom target Manolo Gabbiadini

Agent confirms move for West Brom target Manolo Gabbiadini The agent of West Brom target Manolo Gabbiadini has confirmed the Napoli attacker is going to leave the Italian side. Southampton and Leicester are thought to be leading the race out of the Premier League sides chasing Gabbiadini , while struggling Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg also hold an interest. As reported by Italian outlet Sport Mediaset, Silvio Pagliari, the player’s agent, confirmed that he could move to either the Bundesliga or the Premier League in the January transfer window. West Brom had been linked with a move for the attacker as they look to build upon their impressive start to the season. The Baggies currently sit eighth in the Premier League and are in line to have one of their best league campaigns in recent memory. Gabbiadini joined Napoli in 2015 but has failed to live up to expectation in Naples. The 25-year-old currently has six international caps for his native Italy but has since fallen out of contention following his poor spell with Napoli. A move away could allow him to get back in the frame for the national team, something he is very keen on.

The agent of Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini has claimed that a move for his client will be done by next week.

Silvio Pagliari has confirmed that his client will be leaving Napoli this month, following a lack of game-time in Naples.

He has also revealed that a destination for his exit will be ironed out by the end of next week at the latest.

As quoted by TeamTalk, Pagliari said this:

“All will be arranged for Gabbiadini by next week at the latest.”

“This decision has now been taken in agreement with Napoli. He will be going to one of those two leagues, and could do well in both.”

Southampton have been heavily linked with a move for Gabbiadini this month, although their latest offer for the striker is thought to be £7m less than what Napoli are prepared to sell for.

However, the Saints may up their offer in an attempt to push a deal through as quickly as possible, with Sofiane Boufal currently out injured.

The summer signing from Lille went to the African Cup of Nations last week and picked up a knee injury which will see him out of action for up to three weeks.

Fiorentina plot Gabbiadini swoop amid Saints interest .
Fiorentina are plotting a move for Southampton target Manolo Gabbiadini this month. According to a recent report from talkSPORT, the Napoli forward has been attracting the attention of Serie A rivals Fiorentina, who could be looking around for a new striker in the near future. Gabbiadini is looking as though he will be allowed to leave the Stadio San Paolo this month, but only if his valuation at Napoli is met. Saints have been strongly interested in the Italian international as they look to bolster their attacking threat ahead of the second half of the Premier League campaign. However, if Fiorentina forward Nikola Kalinic seals a big money move to Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian, which looks to be increasingly likely, they will make a move for Gabbiadini. The Italian has scored three goals this season but has been struggling to get a good run of games in the Napoli side under Maurizio Sarri.
